Seeing her perplexed expression, he explains. "I'm...I'm not used to it. I'm an orphan. I don't know my mom, and my dad he...well, he slept with a lot of women to make sons that he needs to make future soldiers for the goddess Athena because of a prophecy. He sent me away to Greece when I was 7 and when I returned home from Greece from my training when I was 13, he passed away so I don't know him either. And Athena usually calls me by name or just Pegasus Seiya. There's my sister, but that's...about it. Usually, I would see a husband and wife call each other than in the movies."

Shaking his head, "So no. Other than the usual kid or squirt or brother, no one calls me that."

She frowns a little as he tells her a little about his background and leans over to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"I will then keep calling you that, Darling. Even though I may not have gone through what you did... I am still sorry about what has happened to you."

She goes to wrp A wing around him. "Unless you would rather be called something else."

"Don't worry about it. It happened long ago. I turned out all right."

Thank goodness the back part of the bus is empty, so nobody is seeing this. He can't pull himself away, as he feels an ache in his body and heart. Leaning forward, he pulled her close to him for a hug.

"If you keep calling me that, would that make us boyfriend and girlfriend I think?" He asked, wondering if that's what she wanted. "If so, then I have to think of a good nickname for you too. There's a lot of nicknames, and I'm going to find a good one that you like."

"But still... No one had to go through what you went through." She coos and lets herself be pulled into a hug.

She chuckles at his question before putting on a mock annoyed tone. "Do you think I would let just any boy kiss me the way we have been kissing?" Okay, she blushing again. "You are my first kiss. If I didn't wish for us to be lovers then I wouldn't let you kiss me."

He shakes his head. He can't change what happened. And it was his destiny anyway, for he hadn't gone, he wouldn't be the man he'll be sitting here today.

Now she's teasing him! And he looks a tad jealous when he mentions about the other boys...! Only to relaxed a little when he realized he's the first one. "I didn't know until now." He sighed. "Well, just you wait. I'll think of a perfect name for you."

Until then, "You ought to tell me what your wishes are. I want to know them all." And he inclined to give Leanne another kiss.

The bus drove through a forest area, and when it stopped, "This is where we get off." What's Seiya is up too? She'll find out, as Seiya took her to one of the stables and rented a horse, a charming brown quarter horse with a white spot and long brown mane.

"We're going to take a ride on a trail through the forest. Come up here." With Seiya's help, he gets Leanne up on the saddle, and he climbed on it. "Just hold my waist while I take the reign." He said, and a click of his tongue, the horse slowly trots towards the forests, taking the both of them for a ride.

The teasing is what he gets for suggesting that she goes around kissing boys! She smirks a little as he looks jealous and puffs up her chest just enough to raise the necklace a little.

"We Herons.... We are not like Beorcs and consider such things as sacred." She pouts a little as it did sting that he thought she was like that. However briefly, allowing him to give her another kiss. "I will, but I think that I am a lot like other girls when it comes to wishes."

Leanne blinks as they arrive in a forest area and tilts her head. What? What was he planning? She perks up as they got off and rented the horse. She couldn't help but to coo at it.

"Horseback riding? You seem to enjoy a lot of different things, Seiya." She jokes just a little and wraps her arms around his waist. A blush forms as she can feel his muscles and she lets out a slow sigh.

"It's beautiful here."

Seiya nods, but then shook his head. "You're not like every other girl. You are you and you're just Leanne. And I want to learn every wish you have." And he didn't mind listening to her talking about her own people.

He smiles, "I lived in Greece for six years and they are well-known for their ancient knowledge, their philosophies, and ancient history." He guided the horse and with Leanne in tow, he rode through the forest toward a still lake.

"Leanne look." He said, and what he want Leanne to notice is a pair of swans swimming over a silent lake together side by side. "Isn't that nice? Look like those swans are mates. They mate for life and raised their cygnets together by the season. Though if one dies and left the other widowed, they surviving swan takes another mate. Though swans are known to rather die of a broken heart than take another mate."

She blushes as he speaks. "You are so weird, Darling." She teases a little, giggling. "I have only been in Serenes my entire life. It wasn't until recently I have finally left the castle for the first time." She was a little jealous of him, to be able to travel as much as he did.

Emerald eyes blink and she gain a look of longing as she watches the swans. "They are beautiful. They sound a lot like we Herons. We also mate for life, even if our mate dies or is taken away." She goes to let out a long sigh. "I always pray every night that one day, I will meet my mate. But I want one who sees me as me and not my bloodline."

It was a little embarrassing, relaying that wish. "When the one comes... I pray that I will be a mate that he will be proud of and a good mother to our nestlings."

He's a knight, a wanderer, so he doesn't have royal duties to speak of. He isn't tied down to any jobs, and just takes jobs whatever he can. "I travel a lot, and on my travels, I learned here and there." Though he can sense she wished to see the world and not just being cooped up in the castle, being overshadowed by her brothers.

"Your wish mirror mine then. Though I cannot hope for is to be a king, my darling. And being a king isn't something I can do. Your parents and brothers won't allow it." He sighs. Though thankfully, the next in line for the throne is the eldest brother, so if Leanne wanted to marry, she's free to pick him or get married off to a noble in high society or another haughty rich prince. "After all, I'm just a poor knight and your brother think of me as a fool not worthy of you."

A pause, after some thought. "But if you think of me as a mate, I would like to be that man who is worthy of you and your children and make your wish come true. But all I ask is..." This is difficult, as he's trying to find the words. What's he asking of her requires a lot of courage to walk away from her destiny to her royal duties, and changed her fate.

"If you want to marry me, let's throw precaution to the wind. Let's elope."

She smiles up at him, letting out a soft chuckle. "You will have to tell me all about them. Just so I can hear about the world you have seen."

A sigh escapes her as she continues to watch the swans, holding him. "I personally do not see one person being either above or below another. We are all equal, rich and poor. It is the heart of the person which sets them apart."

Then he does something that was completely crazy. She lets go of him in order to look up to try and see his face. She was blushing but she wanted to be sure she heard right.

"Are you sure?.... You won't regret having me as a mate? We are not of the same race." She continues to blush. "Tell me truthfully, Darling. I will elope with you as long as you won't have any regrets taking me as a mate and if this is your true desire."

"Eventually, I will. I promise you that." He listened to her words about equality and the weight of a person's heart. "Such wise words, my princess. That makes me love you all the more." His love for her is his driving force that at this point to say such things from his heart. It's strange, but with Leanne this close to him, holding him, he begins to see that he doesn't need to put an armor on his emotions all the time.

"I think I almost there, making up my mind. If you're going to call me Darling all the time, then my choice is becoming clear. That if we were to we get married, I'll take you out of that castle and show you that the world."

So he simply takes her hand. "So no regrets if you don't." He then gets off his horse and helps her get down from there, by holding her by the waist and gingering help her get on her feet. "Think about it. You call me Darling every day, and I call you my Love in return. Like the sun following the moon, always shining on her, giving her the warmth and heat she needs every night. I follow you like the sun."

"So, would you kiss me now and marry me?" He asked her. Then in a split second, realizing this is spontaneous and he didn't give a proper proposal. "You don't have to say yes or no. But think about it?"

"I will look forward to hearing your tales." She couldn't help but to smile as he promises her. Her blush is never going to fade at this rate.

"Only if I call you Darling? That is why you would marry me?" She is teasing a little but.... He was saying all the things she always wanted to hear. The promises of freedom, to let her be able to spread her wings, as well as love.

She watches as he takes her hand and helps her off of the horse. A hand idly reaches up to finger the necklace. There were no falsehoods or lies coming from him. She idly glances back towards the swans before looking back in time for his last words. A giggle leaves her as she shakes her head.

"Who would have thought... That a few packets of seeds will come to this?"

Using her wings to lift her up, she moves to fully kiss him on the lips, wrapping her arms around him. She keeps it there for a few moments before pulling back to let them catch their breath. "Would this work as an answer, Darling?" She breathes out and goes back in to give him another kiss.

"Yeah, who would have thought...?" Seiya closed his eyes, as her lips found his, and it was an electric kiss, one that sends a shiver of divine pleasure through his body because she said yes. The closeness of her body and her arms around him. He didn't want it to end. This warmth, and the happiness he made her feel. "Yes, I would like that very much."

When the kiss ended, he's in a bit of a daze, head swimming, yet his heart and thoughts are so clear, as he gazes at her longingly. "You must forgive me that I couldn't think of a proper proposal. I just...want you. I mean to say, I want to marry you."

With a sigh, "Shall we take a walk?" He isn't feeling like returning her to her brothers yet, and to keep her by his side, as it's still afternoon. Taking her hand, he leads her on a trail that encircles around the lake, a walk through a beautiful forest.

Somehow, this kiss was different than their previous kisses. It felt so much better. Perhaps knowing that he is going to be her mate helped make it so much better. Everything was so warm and his scent was so much more pronounce.

She smiles as she looks up into his eyes with a love shining in her eyes. "You are forgiven, Darling. It seems like you came up with it right then and there." And now for a teasing smile. "And it worked, didn't it? It got me to say yes."

She nods at the suggestion for a walk and moves in to cuddle him as he holds her hand. She doesn't want to leave his side yet, especially now she knows that he will be her husband and soon. Her brothers will have to deal with it and eventually accept him. But that may not be for a long time.

"We should climb some of these trees, Darling. Or at least pick one of them to be our tree."

He needs to work out the details of their future, but for now, he can't believe she's going to be his future wife. He blushes again as she keeps her body close to him, as he can pick up her soft scent.

Seiya has brothers too, and if he there is one thing he'll be embarrassed about, they will endlessly tease him for having such a cute wife, but he knows they'll be more supportive than Leanne's brothers.

"Already picking trees? I don't think this park has a good tree, and I need to more time to think about which is the best tree, for our tree." Now that she brought up trees, they have to pick the best one that will have a special significance. "But there is a hot spring a few miles away, nestled close by a hill. The hot spring has magical rejuvenation powers. I often go there to heal my aching, sore muscles."

Though...going to the hot springs isn't really on his mind, but if Leanne is interested, he'll show her. As he lead her to a field full of flowers, where colors were bursting with every variety.

"Here, this is where I want to lead you. This field of flowers. This is what I want to bring you to this park for. I thought you would like the flowers, Leanne. There is so many that I don't know which flowers will suit you best."

He found an open patch of grass beneath a shady tree where he falls on it to lie down. "This is my favorite spot because I can take afternoon naps here. I don't get much sleep, you know?"

Looking up, he realized the tree is an oak tree and this is the tree, their tree. "Say Leanne, you speak about trees? How about this one? This is an oak tree and it's my favorite tree. When they make seeds, they leave behind acorns."

She sighs as she continues to cuddle close to him. Fully enjoying being with him. Her future husband. Her brothers may never support or approve of him but honestly... She couldn't see herself with any other man.

Her wings perk up at the mentioning of a hot spring. "A hot spring? I would love to go there one day with you, Darling."

She goes to nuzzle wherever she can on him, cooing. "Well, it will be fun and also, it can be our special place, especially if we are going to elope."

This place was already quite special thanks to Seiya. He made it special because of picking her as a mate. Emerald eyes widen at the sight of all the flowers and she looks up at him before looking back. Okay, she flies up to cover his face in kisses, smiling as much as she can. "It's beautiful! I love it!" More kisses.

Leanne runs into the fields, letting herself roll around in it before smiling as he lies down on the open patch of grass. She smiles and moves to lie down next to him. "Why don't you get much sleep?"

Eye blink as he speaks about this tree and looks up. She closes her eyes to listen carefully before smiling and nodding her head. "It is a very good tree. It would be an honor to have it become our special tree."

"Why I don't get much sleep? Well, I worried about Athena a lot. The gold saints there, they said I don't have to worry." He frowns. "I mean, they treat me like a kid, but I want to be the best knight."

So he explains about the goddess he serves, and the hierarchy of her saints from Gold, Silver, and Bronze, and well...Seiya is on the bottom tier of being a brozen knight. He then describe how he used to live and trained at the Sanctuary and his mentor Marin, though he preferred his hometown, which is a quaint kingdom, where he used to live in an orphanage.

"I'll say, it doesn't matter because only the strength of my cosmos matter." He rambles on. When he realized he's talking a lot about himself, "Huh, say if you like the hotsprings, why don't we go? If you don't mind, as it's a short distance. And Argo here," His horse, which is grazing nearby. "He can carry you there."

Smiling mischievously, he's getting her in trouble, as he meant to keep her longer much to the dismay of her brothers, who will never approve.

She couldn't help but to giggle. "You are definitely not a kid, Seiya." She smiles up at him. "You do have the potential of becoming the best knight of all of them."

A smile grows on her face as she listens to him ramble about himself and his home. She was enjoying it, learning more about the man who is going to become her husband.

She blinks as he suggested going to the hotsprings and a part of her was reminding her that she should go home now but.... "I would love to go. Especially since one of the best knights of Athena will be the one to take me."

She is soooo going to be grounded by the time she gets home.

"You really think so? Thanks, Leanne...for believing in me." He beamed with happiness, as his spirits are high and giddy, giving his princess and future wife a fun day. "Anyway, it won't take long and you'll feel refreshed before I take you home."

The hot springs itself was quite small, but it was a small business run and owned by an old lady. Seiya paid upfront the entrance fee and they quickly learned that the hot spring was split into two, one for ladies only, and the other for men only, and there's no sharing between both.

"Go ahead. It's on me." He kissed her on the cheek. And this is where they split up, and he goes to undress to get a towel in the men's locker room and go to the men section to his enjoy bath in the hot spring.

[OOC: Just realized in the previous tags, that the horse is a rental horse, and not his personal horse. -falls over- His personal horse is named Argo in this story. Though in Next Dimension, Tenma is so creative and named his horse Pegasus.]

She giggles as he starts to beam in happiness. "I do, I can see it in you." She affirms with him, smiling quite a bit. "I know they won't take too long and even if they did... I got to spend that extra time with my future husband."

She was a little grateful for the non-shared baths but at the same time, pouting just a little. She wanted to spend the time with him but yet, she still felt shame over her body.

She giggles as he kissed her cheek and she quickly turns her head to give him a kiss on the lips. "I will need to find some way to repay you for everything you bought for me." And with that, she heads into the women section, taking a few moments to fully get undressed, grabbing a towel and head into the hot springs. Hnnnnn, the water felt so good against her back. She feels like she can stay in here forever. Give her a couple of moments before she goes to start singing.

In the past, Seiya usually bathes alone, spending a long time meditating on his own cosmos, listening to the universe within him. The hot water soothes his aching muscles, harden by battles and getting picked on by the bigger guys at home...that it took him years to fight back and beat them at their own game.

There's a wall that split between them, but he can hear her through the wall. When she started singing, Seiya really sank into the heated water, almost sleepy. The sound of her voice resonant against the walls, and he found her voice comforting. He can get used to it, the sound of his fiance's voice singing to him. So after she finished her song, "Hey, Leanne. I should have brought my guitar. We could have make music together." With a smile, he waited for her to finished her song, and he decides to surprise her with his song as well, to help ease her mind.

"The song is a ballad that I heard it on a radio on my travels. It's about a man who lost his love and he's giving his lover impossible tasks of proving her love to him, and if she completes his tasks, she can be his true love again, but then again...they're not lovers anymore in this tale and the man is only wishing and regretting." He said, explaining the song meaning to her.

She blinks as she hears the sound of his voice. "You play the guitar? I would love to hear you play it one day." The sound of his voice is different now that he became her fiance. She giggles before stopping at the sound of his song and she blushes quite a bit.

Did he know about how Herons courted each other? She continues to blush as she listens. Listens to both his song and explanation.

"Shouldn't the man prove his love to her if he wanted her back? But still, it is a sad tale....." She goes to let out a small sigh before attempting to tease him. "Would I have to perform various tasks in order to stay as your true love?"

"Yeah, I have a guitar, but I left it at home. So I have to bring it to you the next time we meet." He said. He is not aware of the protocols of a heron's courting ritual, and that's something he has to look up...if there is a library in her home castle. Maybe the rules are in the books in her family's library.

"I think that's the best way. The man should be the one to court her and don't give up on her, but I guess every story is different." He soaked in the water for a long time, before thinking up his feelings on the next question.

"No, you don't have to go an extra mile, at least for me. I heard somewhere that in the tale the man is actually an elf, setting up impossible tasks for a mortal lover." Oh elves. That explain much. They're always nitpicky when it comes to mates. "I already like you as you. Leanne is Leanne and because you're special. Not because you're a princess, but because you're kind and you always thought about others, and that means you care."

After soaking in the water long enough, he came out, gets dried and gets dressed waiting for her to come out when she's done. The time is for him to take her home...less he invoked the wrath of her brothers.

"I will look forward to it. Hearing you play." She closes her eyes, trying to imagine what his playing would sound like. "If your playing is anything like your singing voice, then your songs are beautiful." Buuuut then again, she is little bias.

She blushes as he answered her teasing question with such seriousness. "Yeah, an elf would explain it...." She smiles as she blushes. "I am just being me... Nothing more. Nothing less, Darling." So much blushing and fidgets even though he can't see it. "Thank you.... Seiya...."

It really made her happy to hear those words and she closes her eyes and goes to sing again. She stops her song not long before she hears Seiya leaving. Oh? Is it time to leave? She waits a few moments before leaving, drying herself off and then getting dressed, and heading to the front area.

"That was amazing, Darling."

All dressed now and ready to go. He was worried if he didn't take her back in time at least before dinner, her brothers will be mad at him. He thinks she might be a little late.

"I can't wait to play for you then." He said, being chipper. Already he imagines how her voice will be a good complement.

Even with all of that fidgeting and nervous, he's blushing too. "Hey Leanne, relax. I'll take ya' back home. I promise." He paid for her at the desk. "I'm glad you think so and I'm glad you like it. I'll take you back here again if you want."

The sun began to set. Seiya returned the rental horse back to the ranch, and they hopped on the bus, that will take them back to the kingdom, with them sitting together in the back of the window.

"Did you enjoy your day?" He asked her. It was a good day, and he wished he has more good days with her like this. With a smile, he nuzzle her along her jawline and place a kiss on her cheek.
