Wolf moon | locked to song_princess

[Continuation of this thread! Also, a full moon in January is called Wolf Moon, hence the title.]

For a few months, tensions between clans began to escalate as random skirmishes happened due to duels and battles began to frequent. Rival clans crossed boundaries on each other's turf. Whether in the forests, by the river, fights would break out. Seiya's injuries were minimal since his last fight and he healed quickly, and he continued training to keep himself strong, just like the rest of the warriors in his clan. For Seiya's clan, the Elders of his tribe discussed in meetings as to how to increase security. Now no one travels alone, but in groups to keep each other safe, even during days when gathering food, and there's a curfew. Only the strongest warrior travels at night to keep the clan safe. In time, the guards and patrols managed to keep the skirmishes down and defend their territory off from invaders.

He was out during hunting in the forest, when he found a patch of beautiful flowers. He picked some, fresh ones along with some herbs to make for tea, to bring home as a gift to the strange Heron girl who nested and make herself at home in his hut.

He looked up at the cold evening sky and observed the moon is becoming full. Each day as the moon becomes fuller, his form becomes less human and when the moon is full, he'll be stuck in his wolf form for a number of days the moon remains full. He told Leanne ahead of time, that the transformation is a signature power of his clan since Ancient times, and the moon effected everyone in the tribe.

By the time his group arrived home, the entire clan has become wolves, howling to the month's moon in celebration as they make bonfires to light up the night as they feast. All of that howling inspire him to howl too, so he howled along with their song as he hurried to his hut.

He opened the door to his hut by bumping his head against it, and when he's at the door, on his fours, as he can't stand on his hindlegs for long, he become a full wolf. His shaggy brown fur is like his hair with streaks of warm brown, red, and grey. In his snout, are the flowers and herbs he gathered for her. He didn't tell her yet, as to how he really feels about her, but she was on his mind whenever he's out, doing his job, and neither nobody has information as to what happened to Clan Heron, as everyone is busy fighting each other or keeping the peace.

He opened his jaw to lay his flowers in her hands, licking at her fingers, and greeted her with wagging tail. "Sorry I took so long, but I came home. I brought these flowers for you. I hoped you like them." He said, with a bit of a wolfy gruff in his speech.

"I think you'll fit in. Everyone in the tribe gotten used to you and your songs." He said, sleepily. And hopefully, a place in his and her heart as well.

He yawns again as he drifts off to sleep. The song is soothing, and every now and then he feels her hands rubbing her ears and stroking her fur, his tails wags lazily to the melody. "Thanks, Leanne. You should sleep too." And the wolf that works so hard to find her a warm place, a home, and a family drifts off to sleep.

"Have they really or are you just saying that?" She goes to bury her face briefly into his fur, inhaling his scent. The wolf who has won her heart so utterly and completely.

"You are welcome, my love. I will sleep too. Don't worry about me and get your rest." This wolf... She would forever be grateful for bringing him into her life.

Three days...three days passed, and on the fourth day, when the moon and it's power wanes, and it was the wee hours in the chilly morning, Seiya returned back to his man form at last.

The cold is still bitter, and Leanne is sleeping in his bed, huddled close to him. He slipped out to wear something warm as he didn't want her to see his naked form when she wakes up, only to return back to bed to keep her warm.

She looks so peaceful sleeping like that. He watched over her sleeping form with a smile, and then he leaned forward to press a warm gentle kiss to her lips as it was something he meant to do when he returns back to being a man, not wanting to wake her up.

He watched over her, watching her breathing softly in her sleep, chest rose and fell, but eventually, he fell back asleep, his forehead pressed on her forehead, as he lazily wrapped an arm around her waist, waiting for her to wake up later once the village rooster crows in a few hours.

Three days, three blissful days have passed. Now both of their true feelings were out in the open between them. There will be nothing holding each other back.

Leanne was a little glad that he was in his wolf form when they confessed and started to share their bed with each other. It made it easier for her to accept this new stage in her life. She let out a small sound of protest when she felt him leave the bed.

The sound stops when he rejoins her and she idly goes to cuddle him again for warmth. She doesn't feel the kiss as she was still deep asleep. She lets out a content sound as he cuddles with her, holding her close to himself.

She sleeps for a few more hours before her eyes slowly open at the sound of the village rooster. A protest sound escapes her as she wanted to sleep a little bit longer... That is, until the sight of Seiya being a man again greets her and she ends up staring at his close face, blushing quite a bit.

What should she do?! They only confessed their love to one another but yet, haven't kissed or anything like that! Her blush deepens as she stares at his sleeping form. This... This was the man she is going to become mates with. It was so different then from when he was a wolf.

"Seiya....." She whispers, feeling herself wanting to kiss him but doesn't. Not until he is awake.

He drifts in and out of sleep, and when he opens his eyes, such soulful brown eyes. "Hm? Leanne?" He smiles and laughs when he caught her staring at him too. "Hey, good morning. Did you sleep well?" Giving himself for a bit of a stretch, he doesn't seem rush to get out of bed. "I hope you have a good dream. I have a good dream too."

Since they're close, cuddling, he can see her really up close, close enough for that kiss. "Do you want to know...?" His hand travels and roam on her slender waist, warming her up, his mate, and brings her body closer to him, hugging her within his arms, his warm scent smell like the woods and him, drawing her close to his heat.

Oh crap! She was caught staring at him! Her blush deepens when she stares into those soul brown eyes. "Seiya...." Okay, she smiles even more. "I did... I am glad to hear you slept well. I dreamt about you, Darling."

Her blush deepens as she feels his hands roaming her body. "Yes... I want to." She goes to wrap her arms around him. His scent was so good, so comforting. "I love you Seiya."

"Me too. I dream about you and..." Those hands continue to roam, her body is so soft. And the wings and feathers too. She smells so good to him. She smells sweet, like flowers. He caressed through her golden hair. He trailed off because he can't tell her about his dream, about them having children together.

"You love me? Even in my other form? You're not scared of me being a wolf, are you?" She'll stay with him, right? Not leaving him?

Her blush isn't going away thanks to his roaming hands. "It seemed like we dreamt of each other. What did you all dreamed of?" Nope, not gonna let him get away from his dreams.

She blinks at his questions and she couldn't help but to giggle. "Why would I be scared of you? You are still you no matter the shape or form you are in. I love you."

Shyly, as he recalls the dream. "I dream we have kids someday, but they will be like me, a wolf...though there's a chance they'll be heron too. I know of wolves that marry and mate another bird, and their kids came out either bird or wolf." He said, being thoughtful.

"I always dream to have sons and daughters. I pray to the Goddess to give me strong children. Everytime I see you, I was thinking of you being my mate..." He licks at her cheek, eyes saying please, and nuzzle at her neck, his breath is warm. "I sense your heat, but I thought birds are for birds..."

She listens as he recalls the dream, her blush deepening. "It sounds like a nice dream. Were they happy? Our children?" So much blushing and shyness creeping up now. "I will love all of them, no matter if they are wolf or heron."

A soft gasp escapes her when he licks her cheek and then... That look in his eyes before he nuzzles her neck, which elicits a small moan from her. "The only one I want and love is you." She idly drapes a leg over his hips so he can 'fit' a little bit against her body. "I may not give you strong children, but... I will still like to try. Try and give you a strong son."

"It's hard to tell. I'm not good at seeing the future, not like the elder. It's in the fields and I see them playing, and they look happy, and I knew I'm their father." He said, being optimistic at the prospect.

His tail lazily wag, and he's starting to feel excited when her legs brushed against hip. Strong arms enwrapped around her, both protectively, as he continues to nuzzle and licks her cheek again.

"Son? You? Me?" Something else is excited as well, becoming hard and aroused as it's being pressed against her thighs, and it's warm as his own heat is becoming sparked. "Only if you want to..." He said shyly, embarrassed that he feels this way, but somehow he knew this is how children are made...to mate. That hand that is wandering around her waist is being pressed on her tummy, where the child will grow. "This is will get big if we mate..." He warns.

Emerald eyes closed as another moan escaped her mouth as his nuzzling and licking continued. "Of course the child will be happy with you as their father."

She lets out a sharp gasp as she feels something hard and aroused against her thigh. "I do but only if you want to with me." This was started to get a bit too heated for her. She knew once the deed is done, nothing will be the same again. She frowns a little at his warning and goes to give him multiple butterfly kisses. "I won't mind but I would want to always be beautiful in your eyes."

"You are good and you are beautiful. I am happy with you as my mate. I will protect you. You're my family. My family will protect you." He remembers the day he found her. It was a terrible day. Ever since he took her to be a part of his clan, he gave her peace and a home to stay. Is she truly the last heron? One day, even after they make a family and raise children together, he will help her find Serenes...someday.

Seiya kisses her, returning with loving kiss, both warm and hot. He licks her affectionately. "I want to, and only if you want me too. I love you, Leanne. Never want to see Leanne sad. It's very important that you believe." He places a hand on her chest where her heart is while holding her body close to him, embracing her, warming her and assure her there's no fear.

She blinks and then blushes quite a bit at his words. "A bird and a wolf... Becoming mates." She smiles as like before, tears of happiness flows from her eyes. Hearing him calling her his mate again made her remember the joy when she first heard his feelings. She will try and give him as many children as he desires, no longer caring if she ever goes back to Serenes.

She can feel the heat in his kiss and felt herself melting into it a little. "I love Seiya... I love you with all of who I am." Her blush deepens as his hand rests where her heart is on her chest. "I am not scared. Especially since it is you, I am not scared." And to prove her point, she gives him both a loving and passionate kiss. "It's okay to claim me."

He blushed too as he held her in his arms. "Yes, mates. I would like that if you will. And us together, we'll be stronger as a family. I promise you that." Maybe this is for the best, and he'll protect her with and their family with their life. Her original homeland, Serenes, may be lost forever and forgotten as not many remember it, or maybe they will never find it ever again...but she has a place and he provided it, and that place is to be by his side as he needs as much as she needs him.

As he was kissing her, allowing her to melt into his kiss and embrace, his cosmos surround her, making her body feeling warm. "Me too, Leanne. I love you with all of my heart...forever with you." Though despite the tragic loss, she has a home with him, and the future, bright and open, and with such determination, he will provide her. Their routine the same as before, but now it's different. They're mates now, and as for the future children they dreamed of...well, that remains to be seen as he gently claimed her that morning, their combined cosmos glowed brightly as they become one to create a future that will grow within her, as Serenes is never a place, but the magic of her bloodline and the next future generation is, but an ever continuation of rebirth.
